Protecting Patients. Demanding Accountability.

Patients Over Profits Now: Tennessee

Are you tired of watching billionaires make money while you and the people you love suffer?

Your story matters. Share it.

Has an insurance company denied your claim?

Have you gotten a bill that made no sense?

Has medical equipment failed you when you needed it most?

Across Tennessee, patients are watching companies shift who manages their care. Some BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee members who rely on home medical equipment, like oxygen concentrators and wheelchairs, are being moved to a new equipment manager, CareCentrix, and losing long-standing local providers in the process. If something like this has happened to you, you already know something is wrong. Patients Over Profits Now wants to change that. When you share your story, it can help a reporter tell the truth. It can help a Tennessee lawmaker take action. It can help another patient feel less alone. Share your story and help make real change happen in Tennessee.

From One Story to a Movement

Patient stories are at the heart of this movement. Each story can be used in a news story, a meeting with a Tennessee lawmaker, a town hall or an online post. When one story is shared, it helps build support for the next one. Over time, these stories add up. Together, they reach elected officials, reporters and communities across Tennessee and the country.

A Movement for Healthcare Accountability in Tennessee

Patients Over Profits Now is a growing movement working in Tennessee and across the country. We take patient complaints that used to stand alone and turn them into organized action. That includes patients affected by changes to how home medical equipment is managed in Tennessee, as well as denied claims, confusing bills and delays in care. We do this through patient stories, partnerships with other groups, online outreach and talks with elected officials. Our goal is to hold companies accountable and improve healthcare for Tennessee patients.
