Your story matters. Share it.
If this happened to you, you already know something is wrong. Too many companies care more about profit than about patients. Patients Over Profits Now wants to change that.
When you share your story, it can help a reporter tell the truth. It can help a lawmaker take action. It can help another patient feel less alone. One story by itself might get ignored. Many stories together are hard to ignore.
Share your storyHas an insurance company denied your claim?
Have you gotten a bill that made no sense?
Has a medical product failed you when you needed it most?

Protecting Patients. Demanding Accountability.
Patients Over Profits Now was started because of a hard truth. When a healthcare system cares more about cost than care, it will not change on its own. When a complaint gets ignored, that is not an accident. It is often a business choice, and patients pay the price. One ignored complaint is easy to overlook. But when thousands of patients share the same story, it becomes something elected officials, regulators and the news cannot ignore.
Share Your StoryEach news story, meeting, and town hall builds on the one before it. One story can lead to a news segment. That news segment can lead to a meeting with elected officials. That meeting can lead to a town hall. Each new voice that joins helps the movement grow stronger and reach further.

Patient stories are at the heart of this movement.

Patients Over Profits Now is a growing movement. We take patient complaints that used to stand alone and turn them into organized action. We do this through patient stories, partnerships with other groups, online outreach and talks with elected officials. Our goal is to hold companies accountable and improve healthcare for patients.
We are a healthcare accountability movement working throughout the country. We use several methods:
Collecting and sharing your story and other real experiences.
Building partnerships with advocacy groups, healthcare providers and community organizations.
Bringing communities together through town halls and local events.
Sharing your story with the news and on social media.
Reaching supporters and decision-makers online.
Bringing your story directly to elected officials.
Your story matters.

Patient stories are at the heart of this movement. Each story can be used in a news story, a meeting with a community leader, a town hall, or an online post. When one story is shared, it helps build support for the next one. Over time, these stories add up. Together, they reach elected officials, reporters and communities across the country.
We listen to you talk about problems getting good healthcare.
We connect you with helpers and next steps that fit your situation.
Every time we help you, it makes it easier for us to help the next person.
Every story on this page started the same way yours could: someone decided to stop staying quiet. If you have a healthcare story to tell, this is where you start.
This is where your story starts to change the system, not just something that happened to you. It takes about 10 minutes to fill out. Fields with a star (*) are required. You decide how your story is used, and you can take it back at any time.
Being angry is not enough by itself. That anger needs somewhere to go. Patients Over Profits Now connects you directly to the people who can make change happen, whether you have five minutes or five hours to give.
